Alumni Game
Fun was the name of the game at the 2009
Alumni Game held Saturday, August 1 with a large
fan base cheering on former Sac United players
as they played against our U18 Elite teams with
back ground music and commentary from our own
Shawn Blakeman.

Would you like to know how your former
teammates are doing and renew old friendships?
Would you like to give back to the game of
soccer by helping current Sacramento United
players?
The club coaching staff includes alumni David
Rubio, Jason Drury, Ian Drury, Leslie Jordan and
Trey Stoddard. Sac United superstars like
Guillermo Jara and superparents like Dan McVeigh
made last years Alumni Game/Picnic a very
special event for the alumni, current club
players, and families who attended.
Former club players and their families who would
like to provide financial assistance and
mentoring support to current players with
special needs can coordinate those efforts
through the Alumni Association. Financial
assistance includes individual player
sponsorships, team carwashes and tournament
program advertising. Mentoring support includes
soccer skills training, college counseling, and
insight into life after comp soccer.
