Welcome Home Alumni!
 Sac United hosted it’s annual Alumni game on
Friday, July 9th. This year's Alumni game was
packed with spectators who came out to welcome
our Alumni home. Thanks to all who came out to
watch.
The weather was warm and the fans were hungry
and thirsty and anxious to watch ‘the old guard’
at the BBQ ran by our Alumni Committee. These
crazy volunteers are some of the clubs most
dedicated – and we don’t know what is older, the
BBQ grill itself or the amount of years combined
these ladies have worked for Sac United. (hint:
it isn’t the grill)
The competition was heated with many of our Sac
United Alumni coaches on the pitch during the
Men’s game -- and of course our current Sac
United players wanted to be sure that the
coaches ‘worked hard’ for any goals that were
scored.
The alumni gave our U17G and the U18B teams a
run for their money. With alumni that currently
play on the Sacramento gold Semi-Pro team, UCSB,
UCSD, UCSC, Franklin-Pierce, South Carolina
State, Sonoma State, Shasta JC, CSU Monterey,
Oregon State, Elk Grove FC Women’s Semi-Pro
Indoor Team and ARC --- the talent on the field
was awesome and the experience was great for the
current players and the spectators.

better night of memories, laughs and good times!
