Shawn Blakeman, a USSF National “A” license-holder, played professionally in Europe and the United States before devoting his all to the local, regional, and national youth soccer movements. A director of U.S. Club Soccer, Nor Cal Premier, and Sac United, Blakeman encourages and creates continuing soccer education opportunities for coaches, players, and parent volunteers alike. Blakeman will challenge the U15B Reds and U16B America, products of the attacking Dutch-Barcelona playing style implemented by the entire Sac United coaching staff, to take their game to the next level. Blakeman’s tireless efforts, belief in the club-wide system of play and advocacy of his “One club, One love” philosophy, have keyed the renaissance enjoyed by the Sac United community during his tenure as Technical Director.
