Karen Hanks holds a NSCAA Advanced National coaching license and
masters degree in Multicultural Teaching. A veteran player and coach
at the NCAA Division I and ODP levels, Hanks brings a no-nonsense
self-problem solving approach to the U16G Extreme and U18G Extreme.
The Rio Americano High School Athletic Director expects every player
to reach for the highest academic potential and cultivate the best
collegiate opportunities. As a teenager, Hanks declined an
invitation to be the only girl on Ganesh High School’s only soccer
team, recruited her father as coach, and founded the school’s first
all-girls soccer team. Hanks said, “I bring passion to the game of
soccer and hope to help players find their own passion for the
game.”
