On May 9, 2009, Sac United`s U15B America, in its 6th year of participation in US Club league play, placed second in the Nor Cal Premier State Cup, the highest level of competitive team soccer competition in Northern California.

At this US Club event, the Jason Drury coached side fell 2-1 to San Juan in the final, played at Sacramento State University`s stadium field before an estimated crowd of 500 enthusiastic supporters.
