2007 SACRAMENTO UNITED SUNTAN CLASSIC

Good Deeds at the Sac United Suntan Classic Tournament from Sac United players Caitlin Crooks and Sho Takatori

Two Sac United players have taken the lead to give back to the community and the world during our 15th annual Sac United Suntan Classic - and here's how you can help!

Former Sac United Sho Takatori has dedicated his Senior High School project to help raise awareness and funds for food, education and sports programs for refugee youth - through UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and    ninemmillion.org

Sho will have donation boxes located at the snack bar and the field marshal tents - and will be on hand to answer questions regarding this very noble cause.

View flyer - or email him at ShoMeDisney@gmail.com

Sac United U17G Spitfire Caitlin Crooks has taken the game to a new level by creating a "Passback" of equipment during the Suntan Classic. Caitlin will be setting up bins near our tournament headquarters; to collect your team's gently used soccer equipment. This equipment will be donated to local youth organizations that are in desperate need of soccer equipment due to economic challenges identified by "Passback".

"Passback" is an initiative of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. For more information on Caitlin's endeavor - please check out her flyer or if you have questions email Caitlin at caitycrooky6@comcast.net .

Sac United is proud of these two players - not only for their skills on the field, but for the awesome way they conduct themselves off the field. Great job Sho and Caitlin!
