Sac United Team Fundraising

Team fundraising can be fun and successful, it just depends on how much effort a team wants to put into it. The club recommends you find someone on your team that would become the Fundraising Chair of your group. There are many different ways you can raise money - some of which have been listed under FUNDRAISING IDEAS as a quick link. These are vendors/fundraising opportunities that have used in the past that we know generate funds. Most of these cost you little or no money upfront, and the profits are all pretty good.

Sac United understands how expensive playing at this level can be, and although you must participate in fundraisers specifically for the club - you are not limited on the amount of fundraisers you can run for your own team. If there is a scholarship player on your team that needs extra funds to help pay for expenses – you may want to suggest some of these ideas to that player’s family.

Your team will be participating in the Fireworks Booth, the SacU KickOff night (adult social) and Sacramento United will be running a Sponsors Campaign, targeting businesses and supporters in our area - these funds will be raised to help run the program as well as funding the Scholarship Program.

If you plan on having an event, and are looking for donations, some businesses may require proof of non-profit status. You can contact me for that information.

Also, teams cannot sell any product that FEATURES SAC UNITED OR THE CLUB LOGO. The club can only sell these items. If you have any questions regarding fundraisers, or if I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to contact me at 444-1170 or sactovlr@hotmail.com.
