Sac United U15B America Wins NorCal Premier Winter League College Cup

Congratulations to Sac United’s own U15B America team which won the inaugural Winter League College Cup in Davis on April 18th by beating Placer Gold 9-8 on penalty kicks following a closely fought 1-1 match in regulation and overtime. The boys reached the final with a thrilling 4-3 victory over San Juan Lightning on Saturday with a late goal in regulation. America had trailed in the match three times (1-0, 2-1, and 3-2) before taking the lead for the first time with 5 minutes left to play. America entered the College Cup as the #1 seed after winning the regular season Winter League crown. Congratulations to Coaches Shawn Blakeman and Jason Drury, all the players for a job well done and the hoarse parents, friends and relatives for rooting the team on to victory. One Club, One Love!
