Tips & Reminders for BooFest weekend
Team check-in will take place on Saturday morning. All teams must report
to Tournament Headquarters at least one hour prior to their first game
to check in. You will need player passes, your roster and your players.
Each player will receive a wristband. Please leave these on for the
entire tournament. If lost, player MUST return for a replacement with
player card!!! It’s REALLY important that your roster is entered in Got
Soccer by Thursday so your players will appear on the game cards.
Each team will receive BooFest pins at team check-in. We ask that you
please bring 1 large bag of candy in exchange for these pins to be used
during Scary Soccer School.
Scarecrows may be set up Friday evening at the field or anytime Saturday
before noon. Judging will take place prior to the parade. The parade
begins at 6pm and will be followed by the awards ceremony for costumes
and scarecrows and SCARY SOCCER SCHOOL. Siblings and friends are invited
to attend.
There will be a $5 per day charge for parking. Visitors will be offered
a two day pass for $10 or may purchase each day separately. Please
encourage your teams to purchase a two day pass, as it makes parking a
smoother process.
SAFETY is SO IMPORTANT! Please plan to be at the field and plan for a
backlog to park so that there is plenty of time. There will be many
young children in and around the park so we ask that you are aware while
driving and PLEASE keep your speed down. Please use the crosswalk and
follow the direction of the parking director.
Finally, remember we are here for the kids!
