Sac United players were offered $50 pre-sale scrip, consisting of five $10 tickets, each with a tear away perforated raffle ticket for the NAME, TEAM, and PHONE NUMBER of the Sac United player who makes the sale. The winning players need not be present to win. Flyer

Volunteers needed for the Fireworks Booth

If you are in need of volunteer hours, we could use your help at the Fireworks Booth on Thursday, July 2nd, Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th at 4207 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento. Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. These are the most important days as we raise the most money during these three days. Flyer

Summer Team Camp Schedule

The club’s team training camp will open on Sunday, June 28 (for all except U9-U11 who start on Monday, June 29) and conclude on Thursday, July 2, the schedule will be the same for all 5 days. ALL PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR THEIR CLUB TRAINING GEAR AT ALL SESSIONS. Schedule

Sacramento United President's Golf Challenge 2009

On Saturday, June 13, Sac United players, coaches, parents, and supporters enjoyed a fine afternoon of competition at Land Park Golf Course. Fred Cook (U14G Extreme) and Russ Cunningham (U20W Spitfire) birdied the last 2 of the 9-hole scramble to tie Teresa Liston-Crain (U9B Gunners, U12G Extreme) and Tim Crain at 2-under par for low round of the day. Sac United Coach Brian Seifert (U9-UI0 Program) took the putt-off, Fred Cook had the longest drive, and Liston-Crain won closest to the hole side games. A good time was had by all at this first annual fundraiser for coach education.

2009/10 Teams Seek Players

Sac United is looking for a few more players to add to these rosters. If you are interested in a program that is designed to provide technical and tactical skills training along with love of the game - than this club is for you!

Sign Up Your Little Star for the U6-U8 Academy!

The club's 2-day a week training program for 5, 6, and 7 year olds, resumes in February and will continue through November. During the months of September, October, and November, the program will include an internal playing league consisting of all Sac United players.

Sac United`s Affiliation With Sacramento YSL

Sac United has not disassociated itself from SYSL, nor does Sac United intend to do so at this time. The SYSL Constitution and By-Laws provide that Sac United is the competitive affiliate of SYSL. Sac United affiliation with SYSL has already been approved for 2009-2010. The governing body of SYSL is the board of neighborhood club managers and presidents who meet once a month. Without action by the SYSL governing body, in accordance with SYSL rules, Sac United remains the competitive club that represents SYSL. Sac United has requested that at the next SYSL meeting, before any such action is taken, there be an opportunity to present Sac United’s side of the story along with an alternative resolution of the dispute.
