Membership Agreement
Sac United Soccer Club is dedicated to developing your soccer player and your involvement is the key to our success! We want to make sure you have a complete understanding of your commitment and responsibilities as a member of Sac United Soccer Club. Please read and agree to the following policies.
The Parent(s) and/or Legal Guardian(s) & Player by the below passages upon registration, all having read the MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT/FINANCIAL AGREEMENT, each acknowledges and agrees as follows:
- In consideration of acceptance on a Sacramento United Soccer Club & Affiliates (“Club”) Team and affiliation with the Club, we agree that we are bound to the Club and Team and agree (a) to pay all charges initially or subsequently assessed by, for or through the Team or the Club, (b) pay the player amount due for the Club, (c) agree to support the Club and Team to which we are rostered and abide by all rules of the sanctioning body, association, affiliate, league or any other organization hosting, sponsoring or otherwise providing playing facilities, camps or tournaments, (d) agree to refrain from taking any action or making any comments which would adversely affect the Club or the Team and/or the team’s participation in its activities for the contract year. (e) agree to abide by all the requirements promulgated by the sanctioning affiliate. (f) agree to participate as scheduled to all team events/commitments.
- We/I have reviewed and will abide by the Club’s Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct. We/I understand that eligibility to attend Club/Team events is contingent upon being in good standing. Failure to comply with the Parent Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action by the Board of Directors and/or the Coaches, which may include, but is not limited to, monetary sanctions and/or the forfeiture of my (our) right to attend and watch my child participate in any training, practice sessions, games, tournaments, or any other Club function or event.
- We/I have reviewed and will abide by the 2024/2025 Volunteer Commitment Policy
- We/I will pay all of the Player’s financial obligations to the Club including as set forth in the (agreed to) payment schedule. Any delinquency of fees or late payments associated with Sacramento United’s Competitive Program, may result in the player or family being placed on “Suspension” within Sacramento United. Any player that is placed on suspension CANNOT participate in any Club activities until full payment is made or arranged with the Director Of Membership.
- We/I understand that a late fee of $50.00 will be assessed if any payment cannot be processed and my account is delinquent after the 10th of the month.
- We/I understand any player whose account is more than 15 days past due will be ineligible to participate in games, training, tournaments or other Club associated events for up to 30 days. We/I understand that the Club has the right to pull the player pass or remove the player from the game day roster until the account is in good standing.
- We/I understand that my account must be paid in full by the end of the season in order to sign up for another season with Sac United or another NorCal Premier Affiliated Club. Otherwise, Sac United will withhold the player pass until a settlement can be agreed upon.
- We/I understand that I am responsible for obtaining at my expense all uniform kits and training gear for my Player/s required by Club or Team.
- We/I understand that, if I desire to try out for another team, I must submit in writing a request to be released from the Club and must be current on my payment schedule in order to be released.
- We/I understand that We/I will be responsible for any/all charges for 30 days from the requested date of release. Release forms will be available at www.sacunited.com/forms.
- If a player fails to meet his or her financial obligations pursuant to the agreed obligation, the Board may involuntarily release the player at any time during the seasonal year.
- We/I understand that my player has accepted a roster spot and has a responsibility to her/his team. If for any reason my player will not be able to play for a period of time in excess of two months, We/I can apply through a written request to the Director of Membership for relief from fees.
- Request Forms will be available at www.sacunited.com/forms. We/I understand that this can only be approved with the appropriate proof due to one of the following reasons: injury, school commitment, or relocation. We/I understand that We/I am the only one responsible for this request and that We/I must communicate to the Director Of Membership or Club Registrar.
- We/I understand that the Club does not refund monthly payments. If for some reason the player leaves the Club or cannot play for more than 2 months, the Club will only issue credit or refund fees to accounts that were paid in full at the time of registration.
- We/I understand that if my player(s) decides to play middle/high school. We/I must continue to make our monthly payments agreed upon in the registration process.
