Our Academy Program
The Academy is a segmented recreational program that provides soccer skills training for kids born between 2019-2013 and coaching education for interested parents that emphasizes fun for all participants.
Sac United coaches lead one-hour sessions designed to maximize player touches on the ball, encourage dynamic foot skills, and develop psychomotor and coordination skills. The Academy programs include Spring and Fall sessions.
Players learn to try new moves in a safe setting. The aim is to share excitement for the game while developing confidence to be creative players and positive parent coaches.
Players of all abilities are invited to participate in the Academy Program.

KEY FEATURES OF OUR ACADEMY/RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
Professional Coaching Staff:
Our program is led by experienced and licensed coaches who are dedicated to providing quality training and guidance to our players.
They prioritize the development of fundamental skills, tactical understanding, and a love for the sport.
Skill Progression:
We emphasize age-appropriate skill progression, ensuring that players build a strong foundation of soccer techniques while advancing their
abilities as they move through the program. From basic ball control to advanced tactical concepts, we aim to foster well-rounded players.
Inclusive Environment:
We believe that soccer should be accessible to all, regardless of background or skill level. Our Academy/Recreational Program welcomes
players of all abilities, providing equal opportunities for growth and participation. We prioritize creating a supportive and inclusive community
where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Age-Appropriate Training:
Our program is tailored to meet the developmental needs of players at different age levels. We provide age-specific training sessions and age-appropriate game formats to optimize each player’s learning experience and ensure their progress aligns with their stage of development.
Positive Sportsmanship and Character Building: Beyond soccer skills, we emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development. We strive to instill values such as respect, integrity, and perseverance in our players, preparing them for success both on and off the field.
Recreational Fun:
While we focus on skill development, we also prioritize fun and enjoyment in every session. Our program provides a balance between structured training and opportunities for players to express their creativity, play freely, and build lifelong friendships.
