OUR EXCITING 2026-2027 SEASON WITH SACRAMENTO UNITED
Since 1977, Sacramento United exists to provide a family friendly environment while developing players technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically to reach their fullest potential. Our competitive youth soccer program provides year-round training with an emphasis on player development. Sac United strives to provide the highest level of competitive play throughout the region and nation, with proven results of developing players to reach collegiate and professional levels.
Our competitive program serves over 55+ teams and 875 players with more teams to be added for the 26/27 season!
Included In Our Competitive Programs
- Our U8-U12 boys and girls competitive teams train two to three times per week. MLS & GA programs train 3-4 days per week.
- Experienced and licensed soccer coaches.
- Since the 25/26 Season: We are excited to announce a new indoor training facility for all teams, located just 4 minutes from Granite Regional Park!
- hardwood futsal court inside the Sacramento Performance Center. This enhanced facility now makes futsal an integrated part of our training curriculum for U8–U15 teams, providing players with a fast-paced environment to sharpen foot skills, improve decision-making, and elevate overall technical development (As of October 2025)
- College Workshop Program – online seminars and workshops educating players and parents
- Compete in NorCal (Spring and Fall) and NPL (contingent on qualification) leagues
- Girls Academy League (GA) for the 25/26 season- GA is the leading youth development platform for the best female soccer players in the United States U13-U19 and a U.S. Soccer Federation Organization Member
- MLS NEXT Homegrown for the 26/27 season – Sac United is humbled to be the ONLY club in the Sacramento Region to offer full pathway (U13-U19) with Homegrown and Academy platforms
- Inaugural Member: MLS NEXT Academy: Sac United competes in the newly launched MLS NEXT Academy platform since the 2025/26 season, offering an additional elite pathway for player development alongside our full MLS NEXT program.
- Participate in local, regional, and national tournaments
- Club co-led and managed by former Costa Rican International Reymond Harris
- Club co-led and managed by Juan Fresquez
- BYGA access – connect with coaches, teams, and families mobile app that includes schedules, rosters, team chat, instant messaging, RSVPs, and more!
- An individualized Player Development plan for each player.
- Weekly strength and conditioning sessions for our older competitive teams (spring and fall seasons only)
- Full access to your team’s matches captured through VEO with high-quality video using technology that is simple to use, upload and share
- Granite Regional Park – one central location for all trainings and home games
- The competitive program is year round (May 2026 through April 2027)
- We send players to the U12-U19 Player Development Program with NorCal Premier

Train in an elite environment designed to help players reach the next level. Sacramento United’s Performance Center features dedicated spaces for technical training, tactical learning, recovery, and player development—all led by our professional coaching staff.
Prospective Player / Mid-Season 26/27 Evaluation
Whether you missed tryouts or became interested later in the season, our teams may still have space for new players. We are constantly evaluating prospective players outside of Sac United who express an interest in trying out for our club.
We appreciate your interest in Sac United. Please register your player in our Prospective Players registration so we can continue the identification and evaluation process. Once registered, a Sac United coach will reach out with more information and potential next steps.
