
AGM & ELECTIONS 2026
The main purpose of this AGM is for the election of 3 persons to the 7-person Board of Directors (BOD) for a 2-year term. The positions open for election are President, Director Of Membership, and Club Registrar (Other positions will be up for election in 2027). Respectfully, each position’s Duty Statement can be reviewed below.
The By-laws of Sac United are available on the club website HERE. The By-laws describe the Board positions, a process for filling the BOD positions, and the administrative rules of the Club.
The Club needs the involvement of Members to continue to provide a great soccer experience at a great value. Even if you are not interested in a Board position, there will be many opportunities for involvement in committees or admin support roles (more information later on those).

ELECTED POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The following available positions on the Board of Directors which will be voted on during the AGM. All positions are a 2-year term. Below are the positions and job descriptions. The AGM is open to the public.
BOARD MEMBER BENEFITS:
Community Impact: Contribute to the development and well-being of the local community through the sport.
Strategic Planning: Participate in the strategic planning process for the club’s future success.
Sense of Achievement: Experience a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment in contributing to the success of the club.
Legacy Building: Contribute to building a lasting legacy for the club and leave a positive impact on future generations of players.
Contribution to Youth Development: Play a crucial role in the development of young athletes, fostering talent within the community.
Reductions in Player Fees: Reduced or waived player fees for their children.
No Volunteer Hour Requirements: Board members may enjoy the privilege of not being obligated to fulfill volunteer hour requirements during the soccer season. This exemption can provide flexibility for individuals who are already dedicating a significant amount of time to board responsibilities and other club-related tasks.

Proposed By-Law Amendments
These amendments have been approved by the Board of Directors for presentation to the membership. The Board encourages all members to review the proposed changes prior to the Annual General Meeting. During the AGM, members will have the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and share their thoughts and opinions with the Board of Directors before the membership votes on the proposed amendments.
