
About Our NorCal Program
At Sacramento United, we take pride in our participation in NorCal Premier, as it brings a multitude of benefits to our U8-U19 girls and boys. Our emphasis on competitive teams and player development is at the forefront of our mission, and being a part of NorCal Premier allows us to offer unparalleled opportunities to our young athletes. NorCal provides diverse competition levels, guiding players along an elite development pathway.

Our NorCal Program
- 2–3 training sessions per week
- Experienced, licensed, and professionally trained coaching staff
- Dedicated training facilities at Granite Regional Park & Indoor Performance Center
- Approximately 15–22 league matches, with opportunities to compete in National Showcases (U14–U19)
- Participation in 2–3 regional tournaments based on age group and competitive level
- Players maintain eligibility to participate in Middle School and High School soccer programs
- Extended 10-month development-focused training calendar
- Occasional VEO game recordings available for match analysis, player feedback, and highlight creation
- Individual Player Development Plans (IDPs) with goal setting and progress tracking
- Clear player development pathway from U8 through U19 within Sac United
- Age-appropriate curriculum focused on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development
- Competitive environment designed to challenge players while fostering confidence and growth Opportunities for players to train and compete with higher-level teams when appropriate
- Regular player evaluations and feedback from coaching staff
- Exposure to college recruitment opportunities through showcases, tournaments, and club networking (older age groups)
- Emphasis on character development, leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Goalkeeper-specific training opportunities available through the Sac United Goalkeeper Academy
- Pathways to advanced platforms including MLS NEXT, and Girls Academy opportunities for qualified players (U13-U19)

Uniform
The 2025/26 season will be the 1st year of the uniform cycle (two years). New players will need to purchase the uniform from Kombat Soccer. Once teams are formed, managers will send out information on required items to purchase and how to order. Visit our Uniforms page for more information.
