SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento United Soccer Club is proud to announce that our UPSL Women’s Team has been crowned 2026 UPSL NorCal Champions, earning the club’s second Northern California title with a commanding 5-0 victory over Silicon Valley FC in the championship match.
From the opening whistle, Sac United showcased the quality, determination, and attacking style that defined its season. The team controlled the match from start to finish, delivering an impressive performance to secure the championship in front of supporters at Granite Regional Park.
The title caps off another remarkable season for the club’s First Team, highlighting the commitment of the players, coaches, and staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year. Their success reflects Sacramento United’s continued investment in providing opportunities for female players to compete at the highest levels while representing the club with pride and professionalism.
“This championship is a reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by this group every day,” said Juan Freaquez. “We’re incredibly proud of what this team has accomplished, but we know our journey isn’t over.”
With the NorCal Championship secured, Sac United now turns its attention to the UPSL National Finals, where the team will travel to Irvine, California, next month to compete against the top qualifying clubs from across the country for a chance to become UPSL National Champions.
