Prospective Player / Mid-Season 24/25 Evaluation

Whether you missed tryouts or became interested later in the season, our teams may still have space for new players. We are constantly evaluating prospective players outside of Sac United expressing an interest in trying out for our club.

We appreciate your interest in Sac United. Please register your player in our Prospective Players registration so we can continue the identification and evaluation process. Once registered, a Sac United coach will reach out with more information and potential next steps.

OUR EXCITING 2024-2025 SEASON WITH SACRAMENTO UNITED

Since 1977, Sacramento United exists to provide a family friendly environment while developing players technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically to reach their fullest potential. Our competitive youth soccer program provides year-round training with an emphasis on player development. Sac United strives to provide the highest level of competitive play throughout the region and nation, with proven results of developing players to reach collegiate and professional levels.

Our competitive program serves over 50+ teams and 850 players with more youth teams added for the 24/25 season!

Included In Our Competitive Program

Our boys and girls competitive teams train two to three times per week
Experienced and licensed soccer coaches.
Specialized Goalkeeping Training (U8 to U19 birth years)
College Program – online seminars, workshops, and resource center educating players and parents
Compete in NorCal (Spring and Fall) and NPL (contingent on qualification) leagues
Girls Academy League (GA) for the 24/25 season- GA is the leading youth development platform for the best female soccer players in the United States U13-U19 and a U.S. Soccer Federation Organization Member
MLS NEXT for the 24/25 season – Sac United is humbled to be the ONLY club in the Sacramento Region to offer full pathway (U13-U19)
Founding Member for Cal North X2 league, exclusively for MLS Clubs with full pathway (U11-U19)
Participate in local, regional, and national tournaments
Club led and managed full time by former Costa Rican International and professional soccer player R eymond Harris

An individualized Player Development Plan focusing on the key elements of Planning, Analysis and Communication between players and coaches.
Weekly strength and conditioning sessions for our top competitive teams by G6 Performance & Game-Fit through our partnership (spring and fall seasons only)
Intra-club friendly games and joint training sessions / Winter Cup for U8 – U11 boys and girls held in late Winter.
Full access to your team’s matches captured through VEO with high-quality video using technology that is simple to use, upload and share
Granite Regional Park – one central location for all trainings and home games
Competitive program is year round (May 2024 through April 2025)
We send players to the Player Development Program with NorCal Premier
