Welcome to the Sacramento United Competitive Program.
All interested players must go through the official registration process via BYGA. Please read the steps carefully to ensure your player is properly evaluated and placed.
Before You Begin The Registration Process

Required Documents Prior to Registration
- Scan or take a clear photo of the player’s birth certificate
- Have a headshot of the player ready for uploading (similar to a passport/portrait photos, please no action shots or group photos)
Registration Process
Step 1: Prospective Player Sign-Up
All prospective players must first register as a Prospective Player in BYGA and schedule an evaluation with a team coach.
Step 2: Coach Evaluation and Acceptance
Following the evaluation:
- A Club Administrator will then add the player to the selected team in BYGA.
- If your player is accepted, either the coach or the parent/guardian must email admin@sacunited.com with the player’s name and the team they are joining.
Step 3: Official Club Registration
- You will receive an email invitation to complete the official club registration process in BYGA.
- A $200 registration fee is required to confirm acceptance into the program.
Financial Aid
- Applications may take 2 to 5 business days to process and review.
- Financial aid decisions must be made prior to completing payment and registration.
Registration Platform
All evaluations, team placements, and registrations are managed exclusively through BYGA. Please ensure you have an active BYGA account to participate.
